Nigerian businessman, Almubee gifts Mohbad’s wife N2m, promises to sponsor son’s education
Nigerian businessman and Chairman of Almubee Group, Almubee Oluwafemi, has gifted the late promising singer, Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi N2 million. He has also promised to sponsor their 5-month-old son to the University level.
The news was made known on Instagram with a screenshot of the debit alert. From the date on the screenshot, the businessman had sent her the money on Thursday, September 14th, 2023.
Many people have praised Almubee for his kind gesture. Some have also questioned why people are only coming forward to help Mohbad’s wife now that he is dead.
It is worth noting that hours after Mohbad’s death, his wife and the mother of his child had cried out over the responsibility of taking care of their child alone.
At his burial ground, his family members angered Nigerians as they were captured plotting how to collect his properties from his wife.
As many try to figure out the actual cause of the singer’s death, a video of him and his wife, whom he has been dating for over a decade, hit the internet, pointing accusing fingers at her.
In the audio, the two were arguing and Mohbad accused her of plotting to kill him.
He slammed her for acting and pretending like she was sick in a bid to get information from him through his WhatsApp, which he claimed she wanted to use after his death. The singer went on to lay more accusations on her.
It is unclear what the truth is about the allegations against Mohbad’s wife. However, it is clear that she is in a difficult situation with a young child to care for. It is commendable that Almubee has come forward to help her.

The troll’s remark appears to have stood out among other comments for the billionaire heiress.
She reposted it on her Instagram page and bemaoned the lack of empathy on the Twitter space.
Cuppy laughed at the joke and noted that the platform isn’t for the emotionally weak.

Nollywood icon, Kate Henshaw gives details of her recent reconnection with her former colleague, Genevieve Nnaji,
