“You underestimated Imole’s glory” – Nollywood Actress Yvonne Jegede Slams Naira Marley and Sam Larry
Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has slammed Nigerian singer Naira Marley and his aide, Sam Larry, for underestimating his former signee, Mohbad.
Yvonne made the comments in a post on her Instagram page, where she shared videos from Mohbad’s candlelight vigil, which was held on September 12, 2023.
In the post, Yvonne wrote:
“Sam Larry, you underestimated Imole’s glory, e shock you Abi? You thought he was an any that you could squash? You never see anything at all. Naira Marley, you overestimated yourself, take a look at DJ Splash’s present condition. How intoxicated did you get with power and money to subject people’s children to such?”

Yvonne’s comments come after Mohbad’s death, which has been met with an outpouring of grief and anger from fans and celebrities alike. Many have accused Naira Marley and Marlian Records of mistreating Mohbad and other artists on the label.
