The late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, has been posthumously awarded two prestigious honors in Ghana,

highlighting his enduring legacy and talent.

Despite his tragic and untimely passing at the age of 27, Mohbad’s music continues to resonate with audiences.

The Supreme Dynamic Talent Academy Awards in Ghana recognized his exceptional talent,

awarding him the Supreme African Street-Hop Artist of the Year and

the Supreme African Song of the Year for his hit song, “Beast and Peace.”

While the awards were a poignant tribute to Mohbad’s artistry,

the circumstances surrounding his death add a layer of sadness to the occasion.

He was originally scheduled to receive his award nomination and approval letter before his untimely demise,

which occurred under controversial circumstances.

To further commemorate Mohbad’s memory and contributions to music,

the award organizers created a new category in his honor:

Supreme Imole Rookie Street-Pop Artiste of the Year.

This annual award will be presented to the most promising and talented newcomer in the African music scene.

Mohbad’s death sparked a wave of shock and grief within the music industry,

with many celebrities calling for justice and demanding answers.

Investigations revealed that the singer was administered three injections

before his death, leading to further questioning and speculation.

While some folks congratulated her for this achievement,

some threw jibes at her inability to keep a man.
