Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was a Nigerian singer and songwriter who died on August 25, 2023, at the age of 24.
He was a rising star in the Nigerian music industry and was known for his unique style of music,
which blended elements of Afrobeat, hip hop, and pop.
Aloba was born on July 12, 1999, in Lagos, Nigeria.
He began his music career in 2019 and quickly gained
a following for his catchy songs and energetic performances.
He released his debut album, “If I Die, Die For You,” in 2021.
Aloba’s death was a shock to the Nigerian music industry and his fans.
He was a talented and promising young artist who had a bright future ahead of him.
In an interview with Punch Newspapers, Aloba’s father,
Mr. Aloba, revealed that his son was planning to get married a month before he died.
He said that Mohbad had already proposed to his girlfriend and had begun planning the wedding.
Mr. Aloba also said that his son was a kind and loving person
who was always there for his family and friends.
He said that he was proud of his son’s accomplishments and that he would be missed dearly.
Mohbad’s death is a loss for the Nigerian music industry and his fans.
He was a talented artist who had a bright future ahead of him. He will be missed dearly.
