Blessing CEO, a Nigerian socialite and businesswoman, has apologized to singer Davido after falsely accusing him of owing her money.
In a video posted to her Instagram page on November 7, 2023,
Blessing CEO apologized to Davido and his fans for her previous accusations.
She said that she had been misled by a third party and that she now realizes that her accusations were false.
“I want to apologize to Davido and his fans for the accusations I made against him,” Blessing CEO said.
“I was misled by a third party and I now realize that my accusations were false.
Meanwhile, I am truly sorry for any inconvenience or distress this may have caused.”
Blessing CEO’s apology comes after she had previously accused Davido of owing her N4.5 million.
She had made the accusations in a series of posts on her social media pages.
Davido had denied the accusations, calling Blessing CEO a “liar” and a “clout chaser.”
He had also threatened to sue her for defamation.
Nonetheless, Blessing CEO’s apology has been welcomed by Davido’s fans.
Many people have praised her for her honesty and for admitting her mistake.
