Singer Wizkid loses N85million ring to his fans at his concert in UK
Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician Wizkid lost one of his expensive rings at his just concluded concert in the UK.
The singer reportedly threw his expensive ring while trying to fling his jacket to the crowd at his sold-out show at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK, on Saturday night.
The ring is worth £100,000 (about N85 million).

Popular British-Nigerian podcaster Adesope Olajide revealed the news in an Instagram live session. Olajide said that he had caught Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz’s rings at their concerts in the past, and he expressed regret for leaving the front row when Wizkid’s ring fell.

“Why did I leave that front [row at Wizkid’s show] when that ring was about to fall?” Olajide said. “Ah! I have caught Zlatan and Diamond Platnumz’s rings before. These are thousands of pounds and dollars.
“Obviously, the Wiz ring, that would have been the one. I’m honest. I could sell it for like £100k.”
It is unclear whether Wizkid has been able to find his ring. However, the incident has sparked a discussion on social media about the value of expensive jewelry and the risks of throwing it into the crowd.
Some people have criticized Wizkid for being careless with his belongings, while others have said that he was simply trying to give his fans a memorable experience.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has made a song for Wizkid after he gifted his hypeman, Money Gee, N20 million.
