Singer, Bella Shmurda welcomes new baby, a year after losing one

In a recent social media post, Bella Shmurda opened up about his darkest year and his new beginnings as a father.

The Nigerian singer and songwriter said that he was “an emotional and mental wreck” in the days leading up to the release of his album last year. He had just arrived in the UK for promotional activities when he heard the news that he had lost his child at birth.

“I was hurt, angry and confused,” he wrote. “It was the darkest place I’d ever been in my life.”

To make matters worse, Bella Shmurda said that he was also receiving threats to his life. “The mere fact that I was in the UK was an opportunity for certain people to hurt me,” he said.

Despite all of this, Bella Shmurda said that he found “light” in the darkness. “Somehow, light found its way through to me in that tunnel,” he wrote.

A few days ago, Bella Shmurda announced that he had become a father to a baby boy. “I’m happy and blessed,” he wrote. “What’s lost can never be replaced, but I have another chance, a new lease on life. A new purpose.”
