Ogbu Johnson clarifies what led to fight with Zubby Michael, shades Destiny Etiko

Nigerian actor Ogbu Johnson has cleared the air on his recent on-set brawl with Zubby Michael,

debunking claims that he disrespected the latter.

The incident sparked a heated debate online, with Zubby Michael’s close friend and

colleague Destiny Etiko warning budding stars to show respect to their seniors.

However, Ogbu Johnson has now taken to Instagram to clarify the situation,

stating that the public had misinterpreted their altercation.

He insisted that the online video was simply a meticulously constructed scene from a forthcoming film and

that their theatrical altercation was only intended to demonstrate their skill as actors and raise the bar for cinematic stunts.

In response to Destiny Etiko’s veiled claim that he had disrespected Zubby Michael, Ogbu Johnson stated:

“Some persons have gone ahead trying to create a rift between myself and

my senior brother and industry boss by making it appear that

I was disrespectful in interpreting my role to the satisfaction

of the director and thereby trying to create bad blood between us.

I make this statement to clear all doubts that I in no way mean to disrespect

the person of Zubby Michael my senior colleague and will do no such thing.”

It remains to be seen whether Destiny Etiko will respond to Ogbu Johnson’s clarification.

However, the incident has highlighted the importance of respect

and communication in the entertainment industry.
