Nollywood actor Alesh Sanni places N500k bid on lady posing as his friend to scam people of millions
Nollywood actor, Alesh Sanni, has placed a N500,000 bid on a lady who has been scamming people of millions, posing as his friend.
In a post on his Instagram page, Sanni shared photos of the lady and
revealed that she has been scamming people of millions by promising to take them to the UK.
She has also been using Sanni’s pictures as her display picture.
Sanni said that he had reached out to the lady asking her to refund her victims,
but she had refused.
He has now promised to show her the stuff he is made of by ensuring she gets deported.
Singer Peter Okoye cries out over scammers using his name to scam people
Singer Peter Okoye has also cried out over how online swindlers are using his name to scam people on social media.
Okoye runs a lottery program that online fraudsters have been using to scam people using his name.
In a response to a fan who expressed his desire to have a certain amount of money before the end of the year,
Okoye noted how such desire is the reason why fraudsters are on the rise.
Fed up with the constant scamming, Okoye has publicly called out certain banks
that are allowing scammers to open accounts in his name.
He has vowed to file lawsuits against them.
It is important to be aware of online scammers and
to protect yourself from falling victim to their schemes.
If you see someone posing as a celebrity or other public figure on social media, be suspicious.
Never send money to someone you don’t know personally,
and always verify the legitimacy of any offers or investments before proceeding.
