Nigerian girl publicly apologizes for asking her father for an iPhone 8 in viral TikTok video
A Nigerian girl, known as @prettyy..yorubagirl_ on TikTok,
has taken to her social media platform to issue a public apology to her family and anyone who may have been offended
by a recent video she shared online which captured her parents’ reaction to her request for an iPhone 8.
In the video, the girl’s father declines her request and advises her to focus on more important things.
He even suggests that she should consider unconventional means to get the iPhone.
The video quickly went viral, with many people criticizing the girl
for her entitlement and her parents for their harsh reaction.
However, the girl has now posted a public apology,
expressing her regret for asking for the iPhone and for recording and sharing their reactions online.
She said, “I’m making this video regarding my previous video where I asked my dad for an iPhone 8.
I want to publicly admit that what I did was wrong.
“I shouldn’t have asked for the iPhone at that moment,
and I shouldn’t have recorded their reactions and posted it.
I thought it was just a normal content video; I didn’t expect it to go viral.”
Many people have commented on the girl’s apology, expressing their support and understanding.
