Nigerian celebrities stepped out in grand style on Friday, October 13, 2023, to attend the burial ceremony of award-winning music star,

Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid’s late mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun.

The ceremony was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Among the celebrities who attended the ceremony were Oba Elegushi,

The burial ceremony was a grand affair, with hundreds of people in attendance.

It was a fitting tribute to the life of Wizkid’s mother,

who was a well-respected and loved member of the Nigerian community.

The ceremony began with a service at the RCCG City of David,

followed by a reception at the Landmark Centre in Victoria Island.

The reception was a lavish affair, with food, drinks, and music.

Wizkid himself was unable to attend the ceremony, as he is currently on tour in the United States.

However, he was represented by his family and friends.

The burial ceremony was a fitting tribute to the life of Wizkid’s mother,

and it was a reminder of the love and respect that she commanded.
