Man wins N150K bet for predicting Supreme Court fire
Thomas Bright, a young man, won a N150,000 bet after correctly predicting the Supreme Court fire incident that happened on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Taking to social media platform X,
Thomas Bright thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving him the money and
claimed the former governor of Lagos State was responsible for the fire outbreak.
The young man claimed that he had previously told a friend
that Tinubu would destroy any court before the verdict was rendered,
but that friend did not take him seriously.
He wrote on his page;
“Thank you, BAT. You just made me win 150k this morning.
I told my friend that you will burn down any of the Courts
before the final judgement but my friend said it will not happen.
Today you just proved me right at last.
You people are always predictable.”
It is important to note that Bright’s allegations against Tinubu are unsubstantiated.
The cause of the Supreme Court fire is still under investigation.
Bright’s win has sparked controversy online,
with some people accusing him of being irresponsible and inciting violence.
