Man Offers Scholarship to Girl Who JAMB Said Faked Her Result to Study in UK, Canada, and USA
A Man who is an Igbo businessman and philanthropist, Gaius Chibueze popularly known as Bitcoin chief has announced that he and his company have taken up funding responsibilities for Miss Mmesoma Ejikeme’s education up to Masters degree level.
Miss Mmesoma who had initially claimed to have had the highest score in the 2023 UTME with a score of 362 had attracted praise and adulation from Nigerians, one of which was a 3million scholarship by Innoson Vehicle Motors founder, Chief Innocent Chukwuma.
However, things took a wrong turn and her joy short-lived as JAMB would later make a disclaimer dissociating itself from the result, accusing the Nnewi indigene of forgery and threatening her with withdrawal of her original score of 249 and a 3 year ban from writing the UTME.
This did not sit well with many Nigerians who thronged out on Social Media to show solidarity with Mmesoma, accusing JAMB of engaging in a politically motivated witch-hunt targeted at the Igbo ethnic group, a claim that can’t really be substantiated since the current holder of the title is also Igbo and same state as Mmesoma.

Many are of the opinion that the result discrepancies was a result of JAMB’s general ineptitude in carrying out their function, and are using Ms Ejikeme to cover up for their mistakes, especially since state-wide results discrepancies was a trend every time the UTME was held.
It was in the heat of things that an American-based businessman and philanthropist, Gaius Chibueze popularly known as Bitcoin Chief took to his Twitter to share the good news.
The man stated that his company will cater for Ms Mmesoma’s education upto Masters Degree level.
Nigerians have since come out to celebrate with Mmesoma who had claimed to be traumatized over the weighty allegation of forgery leveled against her by the university admission’s czar.

Ogun student arrested for allegedly poisoning girlfriend and her friend during a visit to his place
A 20-year-old student of Ogun State Polytechnic, Ipokia, Ogun State, has been arrested by the police
for allegedly poisoning his girlfriend and her friend during a visit to his place, The Nation reports.
The suspect, identified as Ganiu Ayinde, was arrested after his girlfriend,
19-year-old Sofiat Oyekunle, and her friend, 18-year-old Racheal Adeoye,
were rushed to the hospital unconscious after drinking a beverage he offered them.
According to the report, Oyekunle and Adeoye had gone to visit Ayinde at his off-campus apartment on Saturday evening.
After spending some time together, Ayinde offered them a drink, which they accepted.
Shortly after drinking the beverage, the two girls became unconscious.
Ayinde, who was the only one who was not affected by the drink, rushed the two girls to the hospital.
Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors confirmed that the girls had been poisoned.
The hospital authorities immediately contacted the police,
who arrested Ayinde. Upon interrogation, Ayinde confessed to poisoning the two girls.
He told the police that he was angry with Oyekunle for ending their relationship.
Ayinde is currently being held at the Ipokia Police Station pending further investigation.

Iyabo Ojo congratulates Davido and Chioma on the birth of their twins shares video of them in hospital bed
Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has taken to her Instagram page to congratulate Davido and his wife, Chioma, on the birth of their twins.
Ojo’s reaction to the news comes just a few minutes after
media personality Daddy Freeze also conveyed his best wishes to the couple.
On her social media page, Iyabo Ojo wrote:

God’s protection, provision, and happiness forever.”
