Jay Boogie Addresses Kidney Transplant Allegations: “I Never Scammed Nigerians”

Nigerian social media personality Jay Boogie has finally spoken out after weeks of being embroiled in controversy
surrounding a supposed kidney transplant and subsequent accusations of scamming his followers.
In a series of emotional videos posted across his platforms,
Boogie vehemently denied the claims, stating, “I never scammed Nigerians.
I never posted that I needed a kidney transplant.”
Boogie’s voice trembled as he explained that the misinformation
began circulating around the time of his recent plastic surgery.
He claims that unscrupulous individuals took advantage of his vulnerable state and fabricated a narrative
about a kidney transplant to solicit funds from unsuspecting Nigerians.
“My life savings are gone,” Boogie choked back tears. “All because of this lie.
People I thought were friends, people I helped, turned
their backs on me and spread these horrible rumors.”
He went on to address specific accusations, showing receipts and
bank statements to refute claims of misappropriating funds.
He also shared screenshots of conversations where he expressed concerns
about the fabricated story and pleaded with individuals to stop spreading it.
Boogie’s supporters rallied behind him, expressing their belief
in his innocence and denouncing the online smear campaign.
Many shared their own experiences with misinformation and
the devastating impact it can have on someone’s life.
“Jay Boogie has always been a good person,” commented one follower.
“He’s always been there to help others. It’s heartbreaking to see him go through this.”
Whether Boogie’s statements will be enough to quell the accusations
and restore his reputation remains to be seen.
However, his emotional plea and attempt to clarify the situation mark a turning point in this saga.
