Nollywood actress, Biola Bayo, and other celebrities have been restless since the death of the upcoming Nigerian singer, Mohbad.

Mohbad passed away last week after allegedly receiving an ear injection.

Many are still restless over his death, as questions have arisen surrounding the circumstances of his death.

Biola Bayo took to her Instagram page to express her grief and frustration.

She noted how Mohbad’s former label, Marlian,

has been restless as well as his family, fans, and lovers, including celebrities.

She asserted that indeed some people shine in death,

as she lamented over how she has been struggling to keep her mental health in check

because of the disturbing videos she has been seeing online.

To her, Mohbad’s songs are now sounding like praise and worship.

She wrote, “Na wa oh! Mohbad songs are now sounding like praise and worship that’s always in my head.

This is a typical example of E ni sun (You will not sleep).

Abi how many people are sleeping again bayi?

Tried avoiding social media iro! Na everywhere you go like MTN.

Justice for Mohbad make all of us rest o.

People wey do Malians no rest, even all of us Unmalian people no get peace of mind.

Indeed some people shine in death.

May we not die before our glory”.

Biola Bayo isn’t the only celebrity facing sleepless nights.

Award-winning Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido, and Mohbad’s late friend, Bella Shmurda,

have also spoken out about how Mohbad’s death has affected them.

Davido revealed that he has been finding it hard to sleep since Mohbad’s death,

and Bella claimed that Mohbad’s spirit has refused to leave him alone since his death.

Mohbad’s death is a tragic loss, and our thoughts are with his family,

friends, and fans during this difficult time.

We hope that justice will be served for Mohbad,

and that his family and loved ones will be able to find peace and closure.
