“I couldn’t let him get away with embarrassing me like that,” Davido speaks on arresting Abu Salami in leaked chats
Nigerian singer Davido has opened up about his reasons for arresting photographer Abu Salami in leaked chats.
In the chats, Davido said that he was “embarrassed” by Salami’s accusations that he owed him money.
Davido said that he had initially tried to ignore Salami’s accusations,
but that he had eventually decided to take action after Salami had continued to harass him and his family.
“I couldn’t let him get away with embarrassing me like that,”
Davido said in the chats. “I had to send a message that I’m not going to stand for this.”
Davido’s decision to arrest Salami has been met with mixed reactions.
Some people have praised him for taking action against Salami,
while others have criticized him for being heavy-handed.
However, Davido has defended his decision, saying that he had no other choice.
“I tried to ignore him, but he wouldn’t leave me alone,”
